5 Legit Reasons to Start Wolfpacking aka MasterMind Group

WTF is Wolfpacking?

“You guys might not know this, but I consider myself a bit of a loner. I tend to think of myself as a one-man wolf pack.” –Alan Garner

Ray, what is Wolfpacking?? Basically, it’s a group or network of people who have similar goals and motivations. They then get together and discuss things among themselves in order to learn from each other’s mistakes and successes. You may know this as a mastermind group.

I like to call a mastermind group wolfpacking. Everytime I hear mastermind group I cringe) wolfpacking is just more fun!!  This is easier than ever in today’s world where social media has made it extremely easy for people to “meet up” with people in person or virtually.

The importance of wolfpacking, especially if you are running a business or planning to start one is this: you will have various people sharing their experiences and ideas with you.

These will help you understand certain situations and environments that you still may not have faced or gone through.

Here are some of the benefits of being in mastermind group.

1. You will be able to listen to other’s experiences and mistakes.

As a new business owner or even an established owner looking to grow, you have no idea what’s in store for you. Getting a heads up about potential pitfalls and dead ends will save you time and money!  Let’s face it, it’s always a good thing to look at a problem from a third person viewpoint and analyze and learn from it.

2. You will be able to talk about your own goals and objectives and get advice from others.

This might give you clear solutions that may not even have crossed your mind when you worried over them alone. Collective thinking always gives better solutions.

3. A support network is a huge strength for anyone doing a business.

The life of an entrepreneur is rough, the life of a solopreneur is even rougher! Yeah rougher! Having a set of people who support and encourage you, can really help when you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel.

4. Accountability

Remember all those promises you made to yourself in regards to your business? How many did you keep? It’s very easy to procrastinate when no one is there to keep you in line. Knowing there’s a group of people (your wolfpack/ mastermind group) asking “you didn’t make time to finish your goals” is going to help push you through those dreaded plateaus.

5. #Motivation Bitches!

Seeing others succeeding is motivating! Whether it’s because you’re happy to someone else succeed, or you’re a competitive bastard and hate being left behind, talking about what you and others want to achieve will make you driven to actually get there.
