Internal content is content from your site that does not involve selling a product. This is part of the social media content strategy that most business owners don’t have time for but it is crucial! This is usually in the form of a blog post or infographic. We suggest you use internal content to educate your followers about your industry. If you’re selling cupcakes, you may want to explain some of the latest trends, or some of the processes you use that make you different than your competitors. If you’re on Instagram use pictures to show some of the faces behind the scenes. This helps people really get to know you, and your brand .

External Content

This is content from around the web that is related to your industry. If you sell women’s handbags a post about the latest trends in hair and makeup would definitely be very helpful to your followers. Here’s why external content is so powerful: First off this shows your followers that you are an authority on everything in not only your niche but also all the related niches as well. Secondly, this shows your followers that you’re not using your feed just to bombard them with your products. This part of our content strategy builds trust! We use Feedly to find blogs related to social media and marketing.

Inspirational Quotes

Love them or hate them they get shared and retweeted a lot!!! These can be specifically related to your business or just quotes that make you smile. Promotional Products

You know what this is right? These are your products, giveaways, or even testimonials. This is one part of our content strategy that our clients love 🙂 It’s time to show them the goods!
